Micah Walsh-Levi

     

Micah Walsh-Levi grew up in nearby Ogden, Iowa. He attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge for two years, Drake University for three, and the University of Arkansas for two; receiving his Bachelor of Music degree from Drake University and his Master of Music degree from the University of Arkansas. During his time at university he studied with many trumpet and brass instructors including professors Paul Bloomquist (ICCC), Dr. Jim Bovinette (ISU), Andy Classen (Drake), and Dr. Richard Rulli (UArk). Micah has played with many bands including the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra and the Karl King Municipal Band. He currently serves as the organist at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Dodge. Micah has studied and is also proficient in teaching piano, organ, and music composition.
