Youth Honors Recital
March 6, 2020 (Friday) – 2020 Youth Honors Recital – Co-Sponsored by the Fort Dodge Area Symphony and McSweeny’s School of the Performing Arts (8th grade and younger)
Snow Date:  March 7, 2020 (Saturday) @ 7:00 PM
    

Younger musicians (8th grade and younger) are encouraged to pursue musical excellence through participation in the Youth Honors Recital.  The Fort Dodge Area Symphony and McSweeny’s School of the Performing Arts are the proud co-sponsors of the Youth Honors Recital for outstanding young soloists.  The recital is open to vocalists and instrumentalists 8th grade and younger.  The 34th Annual Youth Honors Recital will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 7:00 PM at McSweeny’s School of the Performing Arts.  The recital will feature voice, piano, and instrumental soloists as well as duets and ensembles.  The students selected to perform are recommended by area music teachers to best represent their studios and schools. 
   

There will be several soloists and duets/ensembles selected from the recital to perform before the Fort Dodge Area Symphony Young Artists Concert on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 3:00 PM at the Fort Dodge Middle School Auditorium. 
   

McSweeny’s School of the Performing Arts is located at 1633 North 29th Street, Fort Dodge.  Doors will open at 6:30 PM for seating.  The recital is open to the public with no charge for admission.
